Accommodation
Y Beudy (‘the cowshed’) is a spacious yet cosy barn conversion with its own private garden. It’s the perfect place ‘off the beaten track’ to enjoy a relaxing retreat.
Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen, dining table and sitting area with floor to ceiling windows and patio doors out into the private garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the usual appliances, including a dishwasher and washer-dryer.
Upstairs there’s a separate lounge with comfy sofas and smart TV, DVD player and sound bar. We also have a selection of books, DVDs and family board games available for you to enjoy during your stay.
The large master bedroom has a super-king bed and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds (2’6”).
The family bathroom has a bath with shower.
Outside there’s a private and secluded south-facing garden on the banks of the Afon Ceidiog. There’s also a patio area for outdoor dining and a barbecue available to use.
Visit our AirBnB listing for a full list of amenities.
Other things to note:
Although Llandrillo is not far from the key transport links including the A5, Y Beudy certainly feels secluded as it’s located towards the head of the Pennant valley, just under 3 miles from the village.
The final ~200m to reach the property from the valley road is a bumpy farm track - please bear this in mind when booking (low profile sports cars are not recommended!).
Only mobiles on O2 (and those using the O2 network e.g. GiffGaff) will have signal at the property, and generally only outdoors. Signal improves considerably across networks if you take a hike up into the mountains!
However, WiFi is available throughout the property - so if you want to stay connected whilst away you’ll be able to make voice or video calls via wifi calling or apps such as FaceTime.
Y Beudy is not suitable for most guests with accessibility requirements due to the location and the age and layout of the property. There are steps both in and out of the property. More information and full Access Statement can be provided on request - please contact us via the Enquiries page or email rhydgethinbarn@gmail.com.
As the barn is next to a river, and there are open stairs in the property, children will require supervision at all times.
